In my artwork I have explored a wide range of subjects and artistic approaches. My work is characterised by my passion for colour and light. Paintings are created in artist quality acrylics, or oils, often built up with many layers of colour. Using the pigments modern paint production provides I love to create new forms inspired by the beauty of nature.

Fundraising Sale for the charity Sightsavers
Thursday November 30 to Saturday December 30 2017
Because I am passionate about colour and am so thankful for my good sight, I am committed to raising funds for Sightsavers’, a UK charity with the vision of a world where no one is blind from avoidable causes. It is staggering to think that 75% of blindness in the world is either avoidable or treatable.
I want other people to be able to share my joy in the beauty of the world. Sightsavers works with partners in developing countries to eliminate avoidable blindness. This can often be achieved with a simple, low-cost operation. Funds made available for this can bring the gift of eyesight to many, many people, from young children to the elderly. With the restoration of eyesight also comes independence and the ability for people to become self-supporting again. For the numerous young children affected, a whole new world is opened.
I have committed to giving 70% of the sale of each of my paintings to the charity Sightsavers. I will receive a token amount of 30% to cover part of the cost of my artist’s quality materials and paints. When you purchase you will acquire an original work of art, 70% of which goes direct to the charity.
Packing and Postage -it would have taken my web developer many hours to put in individual rates for p&p. I have therefore charged a flat rate of £20 for each item bought. To compensate, I have reduced the prices of smaller, lower weight items that are up to a value of £150 by £10-£15 per item in price.
Tips on framing and hanging your artwork
Acrylics painted on acrylic paper or canvas board do not need to be framed with glass unless specifically required. Works on acrylic paper can be mounted on board and directly framed with the frame of your choice.
Works on canvas board are also best mounted on board to retain rigidity and then directly framed.
Paintings on gallery wrapped stretched canvas can be hung directly on the wall.
You will also find in the shop shop double mounted paintings ready to frame in a 4” (10 cm) double mount. These will need to be framed with glass (unless you remove the mount.)
