Aberglasney Gardens – I was surprised when Facebook originally refused to let me post this on the grounds that it was “overtly sexually explicit”!!! It’s true that I love flowers & gardens 💐❤️ but I’ve never thought of my relationship with them as sexual!!
I don’t do many paintings of them, I think that’s mainly because nowadays it’s possible to take such good photographs of them.
I was inspired to paint this abstracted version of one of the beautiful gardens that I like to visit.
It’s created using artist’s acrylics with prominent textural effects. It’s on 400gsm heavyweight paper, which is resilient & especially designed for acrylic painting.
