Storm’s Eye

£49.00

During a severe storm, a 2-foot wide bough of a huge tree behind our house, narrowly missed falling onto our house. ?

It took out our electricity. So for almost 3 days, we were shivering without electric heating/light etc. We were so grateful when it came on again! ??

This painting expresses something of the feeling of nature being tossed and torn, of being compressed and shattered. Yet, the eye of the storm is the place of calm and still, in spite of the winds rampaging around us.

This painting is fluid acrylics, on 400gsm heavy-duty, acrylic paper. 21 x 15cm (8.27 x 5.9″).
